The INNO-VIEWS project explores new or better innovationpolicy instruments by establishing a dialogue between public authorities, analysts, industry and academia on innovation policy matters.
Four annual workshops
INNO-Views continues the process of the former TrendChart Workshops with the organisation of four workshops per year to explore new and emerging innovation themes.
The workshops are intended to explore innovation themes related to actual and forthcoming needs of European innovation policies. They bring together 25-30 relevant professionals and are organised on the basis of personal invitations only. Workshop results are published on the PRO INNO Europe website.
In close relation with the other modules of PRO INNO Europe, the workshops contribute to the “Open Method of Co-ordination” laid down by the Lisbon Council in 2000 and further elaborated and established under the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP). Together with INNO-Metrics, the INNO-Policy TrendChart, the INNO-Learning Platform and INNO-Grips, INNO-Views links policy analysis and policy learning to future policy development.
Working within the wider framework of PRO INNO Europe, INNO-Views will help to bridge the gaps between innovation policy analysis, policy learning and dissemination and transfer of good practices in innovation policy.
