Innovation Festival (IF…) is a celebration of innovation and creativity across six European cities, mobilising their citizens, youth, businesses, researchers and other regional players to broaden their minds and be part of multiple events that will not only showcase excellence and innovativeness but also address important societal challenges such as boosting creativity, tackling climate change or decreasing mobility barriers in urban environments.

From 8 up to 25 October Kortrijk (Belgium) will organize its Innovation Festival; a festival for a broad audience with an international grandeur. The kick-off event will be held October 8th, 2010.

Come to experience the events of IF… Kortrijk, and imagine, design, create and innovate with us!

During the festival we captivate the entire city into a web of design, creativity and innovation. Everyone, young and old, is involved in the incredible world and the events of IF... But that’s not all. We will be giving everyone the chance to proclaim ideas or dreams… and with a bit of luck, they may even come true! Till the 1st of June 2010 you can send your ideas, your dreams or a not yet realized project to Designregio Kortrijk. The 50 best ideas will be selected by a jury and will be materialized into ‘prototypes’ by Howest University, Industrial Design Center, for the IF... Kortrijk festival.
