Memorandum of Understanding signed in Tunis in presence of European Commission Vice-President Tajani On 8 March 2012

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Férid Tounsi, Director General of the Tunisian Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (API), Emiliano Duch of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI), Kai Engel of the IMP³rove-European Innovation Management Academy (IEIMA) and Sénateur Pierre Laffitte of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) under the chairmanship of European Commission Vice-President Tajani at the occasion of the 10thConference of the Facility for Euro-Mediterranean Investment and Partnership (FEMIP) in Tunis (Tunisia).

 

IPF continues its peer reviews

In 2010 and 2011 INNO-Partnering Forum (IPF) already reviewed nine outstanding innovation support programmes. This year IPF conducts its final reviews in two new member states: Lithuania and Slovenia.

In Vilnius an IPF team reviewed two programmes, The High Technology Development and the Industrial Biotechnology Development, run by the governmental innovation agency MITA. The programmes were screened for good practices and possible point for improvement. The team particularly praised the selection procedures and the way the programmes focus on priority areas.

First Cluster Management Excellence Labels GOLD awarded

On the occasion of the European Cluster Conference 2012, on Wednesday 18.4., the first Cluster Management Excellence Labels GOLD has been awarded to three excellent European Cluster Organisations that have participated in a cluster assessment prior to the conference.
