Recently (see new news 20/12/2011) DG Enterprise and Industry has completed a study on the “Feasibility of new forms of cooperation between the EU and the Member States and Regions for a better innovation support to SMEs”. The study bridges between the observation made in 2009, that the large majority of SME is dissatisfied with innovation support they receive, and the design of actions in the remaining time of existing (CIP) and the upcoming EU programmes (Horizon2020 and COSME).
