INNO-Learning Platform releases its 2010 Annual Report

The INNO-Learning Platform just released its 2010 Annual Report, reflecting the findings from the 3rd learning cycle of this PRO INNO Europe® project, which ran from October 2006 and was completed early 2010.

The 2010 Annual Report synthesizes the lessons drawn from the 3rd learning cycle and highlights the main implications and recommendations for policy learning and cooperation on behalf of European innovation policy makers and innovation support managers. The Annual Report also presents lessons extracted from the INNO-Net and INNO-Action projects (1st generation) that were running until the end of 2009 and those that were launched in the 2nd half of 2009 (the 2nd generation of INNO-Nets and INNO-Actions).

The 2010 Annual report addresses insights obtained with regard to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of support measures provided by innovation agencies on the basis of:

  • peer reviewing exercises regarding support measures managed by innovation agencies
  • exchanging good practices among innovation agencies on better support measures via a ‘twinning concept’
  • screening of international learning practices among innovation agencies from Europe and Asia;
  • examining ways to create synergies among EU instruments supporting innovation;
  • assessing and measuring performance and impacts stemming from European innovation policy cooperation projects.
