Open call for contributions to the work of ECOPOL on internationalisation of eco-innovative products and services

ECOPOL is a transnational public partnership that aims to accelerate the implementation of eco-innovation policies across Europe. ECOPOL’s mission is to find and test efficient tools for implementing eco-innovation policies at European, national and regional level.

The first milestone of ECOPOL project achieved: about 100 case studies of good practice published

The work of collecting and analysing the examples of best practice has been ongoing since the second Reflection Group meeting in Brussels in October, where several important decisions were made. The first major milestone of the project has therefore now been achieved.

Recently (see new news 20/12/2011) DG Enterprise and Industry has completed a study on the “Feasibility of new forms of cooperation between the EU and the Member States and Regions for a better innovation support to SMEs. The study bridges between the observation made in 2009, that the large majority of SME is dissatisfied with innovation support they receive, and the design of actions in the remaining time of existing (CIP) and the upcoming EU programmes (Horizon2020 and COSME).
