EPISIS

The main objective of the EPISIS project is to facilitate transnational cooperation between policy-makers and innovation agencies in the field of services innovation through parallel policy, strategic and operational level activities. The project shall offer an open platform for discussion on policy recommendations, test new policy approaches in support of services innovation and organise three policy-oriented international conferences.

Panel discussions on measuring the impact of European innovation policy cooperation initiatives

On 19 January some 35 coordinators and reflection group members of the INNO-Nets under the PRO INNO Europe® initiative, external experts, members of the INNO-Learning Platform as well as Commission representatives and Member State representatives from the CIP/EIP Management Committee met in Brussels to discuss how best to measure the performance and impacts stemming from European innovation policy cooperation initiatives.

EPISIS Statement for European Innovation Action Plan: a new mind-set and strong actions to support service innovation in Europe

During the first months of the project, the Think Tank members contributed to the EPISIS statement concerning the upcoming Innovation Action Plan of the European Commission. The statement welcomes the European Commission's Communication on Innovation and, in particular, the Commission Working Document on Innovation in Services.
