The INNO-DEAL project is inspired by the ever stronger need for European regions to find common ways to generate growth and to create strategic synergies by sharing experiences and bringing their recommendations to the attention of European authorities at all levels. It is designed to help regions to develop their trans-regional cooperation activities to share experiences, visions and instruments to improve their economic performance.

On 2 July 2009, the Ljubljana Urban Region hosted the final conference for the INNO-DEAL Project titled, 'How to Provide Solutions for Innovative and Creative Start-ups in Uncertain Times'.

The project INNO-DEAL, which is coordinated by Filas, aims to develop the conditions necessary to promote a systematic exchange of information and good practices on programmes supporting innovation and the development of SMEs (in particular, the creation of spin-offs and start-ups).
