Working area 3: Improving cluster infrastructure through cluster policy

The main purpose of this working area is to find and highlight the elements for building a successful cluster infrastructure. The CLUNET cluster policy mapping report will be used as a starting point.
 
Work in this area will consist of the following activities:
- Identification of the different elements of an efficient cluster infrastructure;
- A case study matrix of such elements against the main instruments, tools and policies that are used to support their development and further operation;
- An example of a practical tool to better support IPR needs of cluster firms and research organisations involved in a cluster.

The project will produce a final cluster infrastructure best practice guide that will incorporate case studies, matrix methodology and a best practice IPR tool.

The leadership of working area 3 is assigned to CLUNET.
