Who can join the ECA ?

The European Cluster Alliance principally targets three types of cluster actors:

• national and regional ministries and agencies that are involved in the design and/or management of innovation and cluster funding support programmes and actions;
• trans-national networks between clusters (meta-clusters);
• international/national cluster associations;

Moreover, these organisations must fulfil the following criteria to be eligible:

• to be registered in a country associated to the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP);
• to be a public or semi-public entity;
• deal with the development or the management of cluster policies and programmes on behalf of a public authority.
