Regional and national innovation schemes and technology clusters policies: state of the art

This non-exhaustive report is a result of the benchmarking of INNET partners’ innovation programmes and policies associated with the mapping of technology clusters. The objective was to describe the various partners’ funding programmes and policy framework, thus allowing for a better understanding of these, and to develop further possibilities for future transnational cooperations. Special emphasis was placed on clusters initiatives and activities, in particular internationalisation activities and strategies, as well as on existing and future involvement of SMEs in these activities.
