Innovation and e-Business
The setting of this event is somewhat different than other TrendChart policy Workshops as it is not on "invitation only" and focuses on a large target group of policymakers, researchers and companies. More information about this event can be found on: http://europa.eu.int/comm/enterprise/innovation/e-business_en.htm
The Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry is hosting a European Conference on Innovation and e-Business on 26-27 May 2005 in Brussels. The event will bring together high-level policy makers in Europe, researchers and practitioners to debate the convergence between e-business and innovation and how e-business can enable new ways of doing business.
A central focus of the conference will be how to design policies that address e-business and innovation in a complementary manner, so as to help business move into new fields.
Participants will discuss the key success factors for innovation and e-business and reflect on the best possible ways to facilitate change management. They are invited to contribute on the basis of personal experience and to challenge traditional policy responses, with a view to reorienting them towards real business needs.
