CLUSTER ACADEMY: How to build up and manage cluster initiatives — 10 years of experience in Upper Austria
The Austrian 'Clusterland Oberösterreich' is organising a workshop on cluster setup and management, based on its 10-year experience as a successful model of a 'cluster region'.
Upper Austria with its Clusterland Oberösterreich GmbH is considered a truly successful model of a 'cluster region', due to its concentrated and visible efforts in supporting the set-up and professional management of 5 clusters and 3 network initiatives over more than 10 years.
To meet the steady demand from international colleagues, cluster managers, facilitators and regional or national stakeholders supporting or planning to support the development of such initiatives, the workshop will explain the key factors underlying the success of Upper Austria in its clustering activities.
At the workshop, experienced practitioners (cluster and network managers, project managers) will be available to explain the operational aspects of cluster management and to provide detailed insight into the structures of the Upper Austrian cluster landscape.
The number of participants is limited to 30. Places are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
