Ms Karin Jaanson is Deputy Mayor of City of Tartu since 2005. Previously she worked for the University of Tartu as head of the research and development department. She has a background in economics at the Tallin Technical University and a master of public administration at the University of Georgia in the USA. She is member several management boards and supervisory boards such as of the Tartu Business Advisory Services, Southern Estonian Tourism Foundation, AHHAA Science Centre Foundation or the Tartu Science Park Foundation.
