Eurico Neves
Eurico Neves has a Degree in electronic engineering with a specialization in computing systems and a Master in Management and International Markets.
He is the author of 2 books on the subject of innovation published in Portugal by leading national publishers and of several other publications on the subjects of Information Technologies and European policies.
Eurico Neves is specialized in European policies on research & development, innovation and information technologies. For several years worked as an Expert intra-muros at the European Commission in Luxembourg, DG XIII, assisting the European Commission in the conception and implementation of programmes and actions within the scope of the research and development policy, innovation and regional development, and participating in the deployment and promotion of the “Green Book on Innovation”.
Eurico Neves is a regular speaker on Innovation, EU policies and Information Technologies topics in conferences at national and international level, having been invited speaker on events organized by the European Commission, the Government of Portugal, the Government of Dominican Republic and the regional government of Galiza, Spain, amongst other events, and a programme committee member for the conferences “DistribuTECH Europe” since 1998. Eurico Neves has considerable experience in EU ICT programmes and has been invited as an externl expert for the inumerous propject proposl evaluation sessions, including for the the eTEN programme.
